Is it possible in Office 2007 Word to perform a mailmerge operation from a C# application using a datatable as the merge source? I have seen articles that create a temp doc from the datatable then use the temp doc to merge. I would like to skip creating the temp doc.

I would like to know how to go about putting in IF statement into a mail merge? I have 2 fields, one is called Firstname and the other is called Client. I would like to have Firstname pulled, and IF blank, then pull Client. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Here are a few of my columns: NOSUB_Text, NOSUB_FALL, NOSUB_SPRING, FSSL_Text, FSSL_FALL, FSSL_SPRING. What I need to do is write an if statement that would allow me to skip one of these fields and leave it blank if it is not present in the merge document.
