I want to send an email merged with an Excel database. There are no problems going through the email merge process in Word 2003. At the end of the process, the system appears to run through the email addresses, but no emails are sent. Can anyone help?

What is used in an excel file and Word Table merge document to designate what table row/column the data should drop into during a merge? The word table is 3 x 3, and each cell has a label (1A, 2A, 3A, 1B, 2B, 3B, 1C, 2C, 3C)

I have tried everything. I did a mail merge in Word and cannot seem to remove the extra space between the first and last name in the address block on the letter when no middle initial is available. My data fields are FirstName, MiddleInitial, LastName and some people do not

I have several certificates that I use in word where I merge data from Access. It has worked fine until this week and now all I get is a blank sheet--no certificate. The only way I can see it is in full view. This happens on all my merged documents. I can go to another computer ...

Labels were typed up by a previous empolyee who did not use mail merge. I would like to use that information to create a mail merge capability. However, when I try to set up a database with the existing labels, the format is off becuase it does not go in the correct order-- eg. ...

When saving a new data source, the only option is .mdb, which other users, not on 2007, don't seem to be able to open. How can I force Word 2007 to save it's data source as something other than .mdb? thanks!

I need to create a mailmerge using Word 2007 and SQL Server 2005. The database table has close to 5000 records in it. At any given time, I only need to merge about a twelfth of them. Trying to load all the records takes a very long time.

Windows XP I have saved a mail merged letter to a USB stick (200 letters). When I opened the file on USB only the first letter was there. How do you save, so that all the data is transferred.

In New Hampshire we have zip codes that start with '0' and it gets dropped in my mail merge process. I have the excel field labeled as a zip code field and it shows up there... thanks, Kevin

I'm doing a mail merge from an Excel sheet and all the zip codes in the zip+4 format (12345-1234) are showing up as zeros. Is there a way to fix this other than doing the switching formulas? I'm not that savvy at Word and am intimidated by the formulas. It used to be so easy!

I have a large table. One of the fields is "Plan", another is "CCs". I'd like to know if it's possible to generate a document where the name "Smith" comes up in the CCs column and the name of the plan associated with Smith, which would be in the "Plan" column?

When open Mailings I have two options "Envelopes, Labels Create" and "Start Mail Merge" Letters, E-Mail Messages, ENVELOPES, LABELS, Directory. I would like to know the difference if choose Envelopes from "Create" or "Start Mail Merge"
