Whoa.....I highlite a selection, hit "delete", and
instead of deleting the selection, I get a question at
the bottom of the screen asking me to confirm the
deletion "yes/no". Anybody out there know how I

In Word 2002, Select Text Box. From the Drawing toolbar,
Draw > Rotate/Flip does not show active Rotate choices.
Help file says to use Text Box if text is to be rotated.

Am reorganising our file locations, and want to remove
the tab 'general' and specify which folders will appear
under the 'more' tab as we have too many to all appear on
separate tabs.

I have the Premium Office 2000. In Word, when I open the
insert symbols list, wingdings are not included. Therefore
I do not get many of the symbols important to writing

I no longer have the standard toolbar available in Word

Along the top of the screen are the typical drop down
menu tabs "file", "edit", "view", "insert", etc...
Well, somehow the "file" drop down menu is gone. Can

No matter how I try and make this menu stop appearing, it
always does. Is there anyway I can disable this menu
regardless if I open my document or someone elses? Its

I dont know how but managed to loss all the toolbars even
the 'file menu bar'and i can find a way to get it back
even uninstall and repair of office.

At unpredictable intervals when I'm running Word, the
horizontal scroll bar insists on popping up.  I can turn
it off on the Options menu (I have a macro to do that),
but is there some way I can disable the feature entirely

I get correspondence from people wherein, I have to
respond by filling in the blank after the question.  
Sometimes, there's a simple line there and that's a pain

templates from Add/Remove Programs which took care of most of them except
