OK I'm an idiot but I have a great need to print envelopes
and labels singly. The Word 2000 has made that button
transparent and unfunctionable ( I'm sure it was me that

under 'tools' and only one has the arrow next to it...does
anyone know how to delete these mail merges since right

some how an old document got saved as a template or
something.  every time i open up word it opens up an old

Just changed computers and tried to transfer some of my
own templates to the new computer, so that when I open a
new document in word, the template choice tabs include "my
templates" with my templates there when tab is clicked.

I have a system that doesn't show a File Menu pull down on
Word 2000. It shows all the other pull downs (Edit, View,
Insert, etc...). Any ideas on how to get it back short of
a reinstall?

Can somebody inform me how do I customize Office to show
changes in the following way: new unsertions (additions)
in one color, deletions in different colors, no balloons.
This used to to be standard until I started to uese XP.

I want Word 2003 to start up without displaying
the "Getting Started" task pane.
I've unchecked Show Startup Task Pane in
Tools>Options>View, but that does not stop the Getting

Does anyone know how to unprotect a document.  The option
