I use ctlr + x, c, and v for editing purposes. Now when I
attempt to cut, copy, or paste with the ctrl key, the Find
and Replace tool pops up. I checked my settings in Tools >
Customize > Keyboard and they are correct. Any ideas why

I am used to Office 2000 where the menu bar (and
toolbars) have a gray background.  Can I create the same

every time I make a formatting change to a word or phrase
in my documents the entire document changes to that
formatting. The only way I can undo it is to go to "edit,
undo automatic style updating" (or press Ctrl-Z).  

since there is no "Repeat" toolbar button available in
Excel (even though the command shows up in the Edit menu),
how do I copy the button from Word?  Someone gave an
answer to this in one of these newsgroups at one time, but

When I try to use the shade command in the tool bar, it is
there, but thre are no colors, like it is not active.
Excel works fine, just not in word?  Anyone know the fix,
or heard of this before???

Simple question . . . the "save as" option has
disappeared from my File menu.  How do I get it back?

I get distracted by the fat flashing curor in Word.  Does
anyone know how to stop it flashing?  Maybe change it into
a different symbol that's recognisable (so that you know
where you are in the document) but that doesn't flash?

Can some one tell me why my Auto Text does not enter any
saved entry's when they are typed.

Highlighted text printed on a color printer comes out REAL DARK.  Is
there any way to make the highlighting less intense - more like a real
