Is there any way to increase the space between the footer and the text?

I reinstalled Office 2000 Professional (with Word 2000)
after doing a Full Restore and the automation error popped
up so the mfg said to find the files hp*.dot and change
the extension to .old. After that envelopes/labels

I copied my normal.dot file from my Word 2000
computer to another computer where I'm using
Word Xp.  A toolbar that I use a lot (named: Our stuff)

I am trying to create a web document in WORD that will
include a background colour or a theme with a texture. I
am able to click on Format and then Background or Theme to

I have built several macros to speed my work.  I have
placed them on the toolbar.  They routinely disappear two
or three boots later.  Does anyone know why or what can

I get EZP posted to my tool bar.  I am asked if I want to
save the page to EZP (easy Photo) I say no but the

I use Word for hours on end.  Not a lot of formatting,
pretty much just pages and pages of double spaced Courier.
The black on white display kills me after a while, so I
usually use the white text, blue background option.

I tried to copy a section which has check boxes in front
of "urgen", " for review", and etc from the "Professional
Fax" document to another.  When I double click a check box
in the original document, it inserts a check mark into the

I created a form and put a drop down menu in it.  I have
5 choices to pick from.  How can I make the 5 choices
(font) a different color?

I can't remember the trick to gaining access to menu
options. Specificallly, I need to watermark DRAFT but
when I go Format -> Background -> Printed Watermark, the
Printed Watermark option is not activated (indicated by

When deleting anything in Word, there is a prompt on the
Status Bar to confirm the deletion.  Is there a way to
turn off that prompt?

I opened up my Microsoft Word and found that Menus and
Toolbars were missing. I have drug the corners thinking
they were hidden, I have tried to use the Alt key for

I can't seem to get the prograsm to accept the changes I
make in the toolbar formatting. I make changes, I close
the program and when I open it again the old buttons
reappear. How do I force Word to accept my toolbar changes
