Is there a way to customize Word 2003 so that when I click File > Open the
Details view is always displayed? I also want the size of the window to be
large enough to display all the headings, with the most current document on
top. I have done this in Windows XP, but my same view ...

Permanently hide reviewing toolbar27 Jun 2005 18:56 GMT2
Every time I open an existing Word document, the reviewing toolbar re-opens.
I close it every time I run word, and it doesn't appear if I create a new
document, only when I open an existing.  How do I make it go away forever?
Thanks!

How do I import fonts from an earlier version of MS Word. I am currently
using Word 2003 but it would seem that some fonts I had been using in Word
2002 are no longer in the 2003 version.
Thanks

Enlarging Toolbar Icons When In High Resolution26 Jun 2005 05:47 GMT3
I've gotten a new LCD monitor whose native resolution is 1680x1050 and now
my toolbar icons and menu items are all in pretty small sizes. I know to

The small but annoying mystery of the ever present toolbar23 Jun 2005 04:36 GMT5
I loaded the American Heritage® Dictionary, 4th Ed. with thesaurus on
to my hard drive.  Great dictionary but the program has one little
persistent problem.  Automatically it loads a toolbar (Houghton
Mifflin Company) with an icon into Word 2003.  The icon is useful but
Font list22 Jun 2005 23:53 GMT3
When a new font is used it is added to the top of the list of fonts in the
fonts list box on the Formmatting toolbar. This eventually grows as more and
more fonts are used. Is there a way of removing any of these from the top of
the list?

Exporting Autotext entries to another user.19 Jun 2005 16:24 GMT1
I have created Autotext entries for a form letter. For example
"fieldA" has as Autotext entries "bla" "bla-bla" "bla-bla-bla."
That way, in my form letter, I can right click on the field within the
text, and pick one of several choices, essentially creating a drop

When I had Word 2000 on my W98 machine I created macros that let me use
Function buttons on the keyboard (F11, F12), to move to the Previous or Next
open Word document. It was a very convenient way of cycling through multiple
open documents.
