Word 2003, new menu disapears05 Dec 2005 22:18 GMT1
I'm creating a new template with a menu in it. It's there when I create it.
I save, close and reopen the template and, swosh, it's gone. I've also got
Acrobat 6 installed.
Any ideas?

This may be a trivial thing, but I miss my "Office Toolbar" that I had on
Office 2000.  I can't find it to put it on 2003.
Does anyone have a suggestion how I can put a little toolbar on my computer
that will always show whether I use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc?

I have tried several code varients to customise the menus shown when a
new document is generated from my template.  So far all I've been able
to do is inadvertently cause errors on the document close event. All I
would like is my normal development menus to appear when opening the

Is there any way to ensure that when Word is opened, a default set of
toolbars (could be one or two) is displayed.  Regardless of which toolbars
were displayed when Word was shut down.  I want them to be displayed in the
Pages: 1 2 November, 2005
