I can't seem to figure out how to assign a keyboard command -- like Alt-A --  
to an existing macro in Word 2007. I know it must be simple to do but I
can't figure it out. Thanks for the help!

I've installed some custom toolbars, but when I click on "View", "toolbars",
the list of toolbars appears, but not all of them are in bold print, so I
can't click on them to get them to display.  Is this some sort of security
setting I don't know about or ????  I'm just a little ...

I have a spreadsheet with conditional formatting where the background
of the cell is yellow until something is input.  Once input, the
background turns to white.  I use this to be able to visually verify
that important cells were not overlooked.  Within this spreadsheet I

click on the "office" button (top left) and go to word Options  "Live
Preview" cannot be enabled..
anyone know why?

I have a word document 'A' and inside it, I have my own menu item 'XYZ'. This
menu item provides the merge fields, say 'merge field 1', 'merge field 2' ...
etc etc
The merge fields come from the macros i have written.

Is it possible to customize the text in Microsoft's help pane? I tried
using the Office Assistant, but two people's computers hung and crashed
when I did that. I'm thinking maybe the help pane may be more stable.

of text which includes a table or image, word selects a menu item (‘File’,
‘Edit’, ‘View’, etc.) so that I can no longer navigate or type text until I
click back on the text such that it deselects the ...

I have created a Word template (.dot), and when I double-click it to
open a copy, I receive the following message:
"There is insufficient memory or disk space. Close extra windows and
save your work."

At the bottom of any word document word continutes to display "Word is
Calculating the Word Count" every ten seconds or so.

My lurking here has proved so rewarding that I must finally ask my own
question.
