Disappearing toolbar button23 Jul 2007 12:50 GMT1
I recorded a macro and assigned it to a tool bar button. I placed the new
button near the end of the tool bar. For some reason when I close Word and
reopen it, the button does not stay, it's gone. I can go back into the
"Customize" dialog and put it back, but I'd prefer that it ...

We are upgrading our Word 2002 to Word 2003 and plan on pushing out the
installation to our users.  We would like to have the standard and
formatting toolbars appear on two rows.  I saw one reference to a macro
which would make this setting but cannot find it on archives.  Can ...
Restore lost File button to main menu?18 Jul 2007 01:16 GMT3
While deleting spurious buttons from the File menu (placed there by some
free-trial PDF-file program too big for its britches), I dragged the File
button into oblivion.
I tried what the Help advised, but nothing works.

buttons I put in are 'Highlight' and 'New Comment' - both of which are
default in the 'Reviewing' toolbar.  When I use these ...

When I write "2007" and then push the button "Enter", Word 2007 adds
automatically month and day. How can I stop this behaviour?
Someone has suggested to add "shift" when I type "enter". But why I have
to be forced to remember that I must hold the button "shift", whenever I
Where is the "Insert-reference-caption" command in Word 2007?02 Jul 2007 02:12 GMT1
When writing reports, I have always used MS Word (ie. 1997, 2000, 2003). In
those reports, I have inserted pictures. Those pictures are called "Figures
1, 2, 3, etc...". In order to explain the figures, I have associated a
caption with them. To do that I clicked on the ...
