Add-in macro not shown in Quick Access Toolbar commands12 May 2008 05:57 GMT7
I have an add-in (Word 2007) which has public macros and is loaded on
startup. I can view / run the macro pressing ALT+F8. But i would like
to add a button on the QAT but when i goto customize and choose
"Macros" from the "Choose commands from" drop down the macros are not

    I want to make a custom toolbar for a template.  I want to copy an existing toolbar from a different template, rename
it, and then edit it.  I don't want the edits to affect the preexisting toolbar.  How can I do that in Word XP?

Maybe it was the virus scan (Avast) yesterday that showed a virus or two,
and they were handled as directed. This is not uncommon. It has happened
before with no effects on the computer.
But today I could not access my XP Office Word files. The pop-ups indicate

I have a bunch of macros that work great for a lot of repetative tasks
that my company performs on a regular basis.  My company just upgraded
to office 2007 and while the macros are still there and working in the
Add-Ins tab, I would like them to available in a template file that
