I'm working on some Japanese text that has been transliterated into English.  What I
received has a chracter that looks like a hyphen with a downward stroke at the end.  I
believe it is a non-printing character.  I can find it in my character map and insert one,
but I cannot copy ...

I'm using Word 2003.  Can someone point me to instructions for placing a
link to a Word doc in an existing custom menu.  There are several documents
I update repeatedly, and it would be nice to be able to simply click on the
menu, then on the item and have it load.  I know I can ...

I'm using Word XP.  I want to change the default BEEP.  Is this a registry edit? How do I
change it?

I have adopted a huge application written in Word VBA.  There are probably
50 custom menus and submenus.  I understand VB and have no problem
maintaining and updating the code, but I have not figured out how to identify
the template and module that is linked to a custom menu ...

I have learned how to include the ampersand in Ribbon labels "&amp:&" I
was wondering if there is a way or perhaps plans for a way in a future Word
addition to allow using other symbols.
Particularly the superscript TM (trademark) symbol?

I seem to be losing my third party command buttons from the quick access
toolbar.
I noticed that macro that is within a word template stays on the QAT, but
nothing else does.

Is it possible to change the color scheme of Word 2007's frame?  Since it is
light blue and causes a glare, I would prefer  grey or a more muted color.

My boss just reported to me that the dropdown menus in Word for "File" and
"Tools" have disappeared.  He can get the button to highlight, but when he
clicks it, nothing happens.  And only with the "File" and "Tools" dropdowns.  
All other buttons are working okay.
