sub menus not displaying "underneath" menu30 Jan 2009 06:26 GMT1
This has been going on for some time and it really bugs me.
The menu bar's submenus, the FILE, EDIT, VIEW, etc., buttons on ALL programs
I use do not show the "save as," for example, directly under the menu, but
rather exactly under the following menu button.
How to get custom styles onto a custom word 2007 ribbon tab27 Jan 2009 06:09 GMT4
I've been converting my company's word 2003 templates into 2007 templates and
using the Office 2007 Custom UI Editor to convert the custom 2003 toolbars
into a custom 2007 ribbon tab.
The whole process so far has been fairly straight forward so far, even

Modifying the MS Word File drop down21 Jan 2009 17:57 GMT4
What type of skills would be required and what'd be the level of effort (two
days?  two weeks?  two months?) to modify the MS Word File dropdown (Word
2003 and 2007) so that some of the options in the file drop down are not
available?  I want to disable options like Open, Save, ...

Strange problem with New Message colour19 Jan 2009 19:03 GMT2
One of the users did something odd to his Outlook 2003 client so
now the message background is blue. He's got no stationery set though.
As his Outlook uses MS Word as the editor I opened Word to see what
happens there. Well, the default page is blue... I changed it to white
word 2007 - styles16 Jan 2009 09:11 GMT9
New styles can be added to the list of in-built styles.   If I add a
new style called "new", then when I start a new document that style is
listed in the "home" tab of the ribbon.   (if it does not show then it
can be scrolled to.)

In Word 2002 using XP home sp2, I had two or three signature "Bitmaps" set up

It has been a pain for me - I could not find in Word 2007 the equivalent of "Remove all scripts" command in Word 2003.
I searched all over the Web and Microsoft help files - no luck. I had vbscripts in HTML files rendered at IE browser (please don't ask why). My users copy the ...
