I'm building a template.  Are the Word Options saved on the document, template or the entire software level?
When I make changes to the Word Options, am I only making those changes to them for the current document, or if I'm in a template file am I making them for all docs ...

I assigned Ctrl + Shift + W to Insert Symbol and discovered that when I use
the shortcut key, my MRU (most recently used) list of symbols is not updated.

I am writing a PhD thesis and require some help numbering my figures an
tables. I use Word 2003 and would like Word to restart numbering of my figure
and tables after each chapter (NOTafter each section). For example, captions o
figures/tables in Chapter 1 should read Figure/Table 1 ...

When I assign a macro to a toolbar in word 2007 it lets me choose an icon
but not to put the text of the icon's name. Also I cannot put any pther icon
besides the one in the list. Is ther a way to import icons?

I have a Sony Vaio VGNNW130D with Windows 7 Professional and Word 2007.  Is
there any way to permanently disable the Caps Lock key as I press it often

I'm running Word 2002 SP3 on Vista Ultimate, and for some months now whenever
