I have a question here and could not figure out what went wrong. I have
created a new menu called "my templates list" and located it in the
Formatting toolbar and saved in "mytemplate.dot". When opening a new document
(that's referenced to the template), it didn't get displayed ...

I recently modified my Word 2007 Ribbon using the Custom UI Editor and
it was very straight forward. I have a template (.dotm) in the Word
startup folder that contains some VBA which is attached to a custom
icon on a new Tab /Group on the Ribbon.

I have already used the Custom UI Editor to create a custom Tab /Group
for a template containing some VBA stored in Word's Startup folder
(.dotm).
This is probably really simple, but I can't seem to figure out how to

I created a custom group for the ribbon with the 2007 Custom UI Editor and
put the group in a custom tab. So far, so good.
Now I would like to use this same group (in the same context so same
template) in another tab as well.
