I have a document that I am trying to number with a
combination of heading and outline numbering.
I would like to see:
1. Heading

Is it possible to have a caption on two lines? I would
like to have a caption like:
 Table 1
Table Title

My captions skip from Figure 16 to Figure 18. If I create
a figure crossreference, the dialogue box that lists the
figures for you to select from has Figure 17 coming after
Figure 18. If I create a page crossreference to that

BACKGROUND: OS Windows 2000 Pro, MS Word 2002. Have manuscript of about 200
pages typed on Two columns, landscape, on 8-1/2 x 11 sheet (100 sheets);

I inserted a line within my footer (towards the top of the
footer) and would like to put a page number below the
line.  However, Word won't let me place the cursor beneath
the line, just above it.  What should I do?

I am using MSWord 2000.  I am using styles for the heading numbers above
paragraphs, 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, etc.  Is there a way to have 1.1 underlined?

When I use line numbering I get a captital 'A' in front of
the line number.  When I send the document to another on
the same server the 'A' is gone.  How do I get rid of

The first has a table in the header, with 'Page X of Y'
nested in the table.  The second has a different table in
