When I print, some bullets are fine, however, most print
as different incoherent characters.
I sent the doc to another computer and it printed fine.
I suspect there is a setting issue.  Any suggestions on

I am using Word 97 SR-2 & use styles/Headers to establish
outline numbering, based on Shauna Kelly's website

I have found how you you can set the font attributes for
bulleting but can you have the text that follows the
bulleting inherit the font attributes of the bullets?

I have a number of files with many equations in each.  I
was wondering if anyone knew how to number these equations
automatically, so that I do not have to manually insert
the numbers.  I also want the numbering to appear on the

I'm trying to create automated "outline numbering" numbers
that will appear flush right beside text on their left.
Specifically, the purpose is to automate numbering of

I have the numbering function setup to but I can't seem to get the sequence
to increase correctly. I have sections that should be listed as 1.1, 1.2,
1.3 etc. but I'm getting 1.1, 2.1, 3.1 instead.
Is there a setting I've missed. I'd appreciate any help.

I am labeling the Figures in my document with a caption like this:  Figure
4.2.4-1
The 4.2.4 is a Heading 3 style and used for this numbering this particular
figure-- but in later figures within the same document, I want to based the

I have two list styles defined and saved in my
normal.dot.  Each has nine levels and each level is
associated with its own style.  Why is it my documents
become corrupt whenever I use both list styles in the

Please can any one help me with the following numbering
scheme:
Level 1 should be Article I. centerd with two single
lines following the text e.g.:

I have a long document with multipal figures and tables
inserted into it.  I am trying to autonum the figures and
tables seperatly, but can not get it to work, it numbers
them both together.

I had to restart my computer a while ago and i had to
delete every thing i had.  I got everything back, except
my microsoft word.  Now i don't know what to do because I

[Word 2002] I have a two page document.  There are no section
dividers.  There is no fancy formatting.  But the header on the
second page reads page 3, not page 2.  I tried it with the page icon

I have a 13 page document set up as the Main Document -
Letter.  The numbering on the main document is set up just
the way we want it.  With each section "restarting" the
number sequence.

Normally this works for me, but for some reason Word won't
allow me to restart numbering a heading paragraph after
inserting a break (i.e., Insert | Break | Next Page).
I have tried the suggestions under kbbug KB286872 (WD2002:
