Please help! When I want to add in the page number for my
Word documents, it shows page '0' of 3 (on all 3 pages of
my documents). Have tried to look at the Page Setup, Page
Number Setup, etc... And nothing seems to be out of the

I often need to take endnotes out of Word's endnote
function and turn them into superscript numbers within the
text and a list at the end of the document. The only
method I know of is copy the endnote text into another

I'm having a bit of a problem with Word 2002.
When I select a sentence and want to add a bullet,
instead of only applying the bullet to that sentence,
Word applies it to the whole document.

We are trying to set up a template that will have the page number starting
at 2  we want the total pages also to start at 2.  We are using Office XP.
The help gives us a syntax error when we copy it with the NUMPAGES

I am using Microsoft Works Version 6.0 and am working on a
document I imported from an older programme of Word.  I
imported it into Works in the hope it would solve a

I have a folder with 19 separate files.  I want to start
with page one of ___ in each file.
For some reason (and they do not appear to be linked

I have a document with 10 total pages and 3 sections.
The first two pages comprise section one which I is not

Word 2000: If I have several section breaks in a document
because of using columns back and forth, the footer page
numbers get all messed up.  It will go 1, 2, then back to
1 again.  Any ideas?

I chose to deactivate features not compatible with word 95/6.0. I
don't understand the reason why I am not prevented from using list
styles which were not present in Word 6.0 . Why is that?
Also, I was trying to find what is the use for list styles; would they

I am using a graphic on my computer to make a bulleted list.  This works
fine.  What doesn't work, however, is when the document is transported to
another computer - then the bullets revert back to the standard bullet
(solid dot).
