I know this is a FAQ but I'm still confused.  I have the
classic re-start numbering problem.  In particular:
I have a document that's structured:

I have multiple documents which all begin with a different numbering.
One document starts at number 60, another document starts at 90.
No problem.
Now I need to make one big document from all subdocuments, keeping the numbering and maintaining

I'm hoping someone can refer me to a reference where I can find a
'continue numbering' macro to remove the next previous dummy
paragraph.  I am currently testing Margaret Aldis's macro for the
RestartMethod which has been successful so far (THANK YOU MARGARET!!).

Can I somewhere download a pre-made template, especially designed for
legal numbering? Or would somebody, who has developed such a template,
kindly send it to me? (Please reply here, as I use a dummy-mail for
newsgroups).

I am looking to run consecutive page numbers in multiple files. I a
working on a novel but want to know how many pages, but I have th
novel chopped up into files. Chapter 1 is in a file named Chapter 1 an
