I have a document with several figures that are placed in
text boxes.  The caption are below the figures in the text
boxes.  In the text, I have numerous cross references to
these figures.  All looks good until I use Print Preview,

Is it possible to use
Insert/Reference/Cross-reference.
To insert a figure cross reference that will show up as:
"Fig 1"

I want to learn anything and everything there is about fields in Word. It
seems that when all else fails..fields are the magic answer.
