I've got both parts, but can't get them into one macro.
1st: This macro inserts an AutoNumLgl field at exactly where my
insertion point is, then consecutively numbers each paragrph when I
run the macro.

I keep needing to "restart numbering" for numbered lists
in a very large document.  Each time I re-open the doc,
the lists have magically renumbered themselves to continue
from lists in previous pages of the doc.  Is there some

My document contains a page with columns sectioned using
Continuous section breaks.  The page numbering appears to
be counting the columns and therefore adding giving me a
skip in the page numbering.

Using Word XP 2002 with Heading styles. Pressing Tab on
heading 1 text should change it to heading 2.  It just
inserts a tab.  Is this a setting that I have wrong?
