I've got both parts, but can't get them into one macro. 1st: This macro inserts an AutoNumLgl field at exactly where my insertion point is, then consecutively numbers each paragrph when I run the macro.

I have 20 tables in my document. I've put a caption on each table, but they are all odd numbers. The first table is "Table 1-1", the second is "Table 1-3", third "Table 1- 5", etc. How do I get them to number properly.

My document contains a page with columns sectioned using Continuous section breaks. The page numbering appears to be counting the columns and therefore adding giving me a skip in the page numbering.

Using Word XP 2002 with Heading styles. Pressing Tab on heading 1 text should change it to heading 2. It just inserts a tab. Is this a setting that I have wrong? Thanks
