Our document has uses Headings styles 1 - 4 in order to generate a table of contents. We have a problem with Heading Style Level 4: Sometimes it looks like this, in which case we DO want Level 4 included in the TOC:

Our TOC level 4 is set up with a dot leader tab at 6.5". However, in a couple of instances level 4 might only be one word - in which case, the page number appears at the next tab stop instead of at position 6.5", and has no dot leader.

Is there anyway to default Listnum to act in the same way as Autonumlgl in respect to automatically changing levels with respect to the preceding heading. i.e. if a level 2 header is inserted above a level 2 listnum I would like the listnum to automatically change to level 3.

I set up a numbered style [ (a), (b), ...] in a single document I'm working on, and it is the the only Numbered-based style there is in the doc (there's also a Bullet-based and Outline-based style used in the doc).
