If I have a numbered style like
1.  First item      ...and then press return get
2.                     ...press return again with no text and get a
blank line still in the numbered style but with no number.

who say that reordering numbered paragraphs poses a problem:  the scenario is
when they are given a hard copy of a document, and that hard copy has edits

Word 2003 is no longer allowing me to tab in order to advance an outline
number from 1) to a). When the tab goes in it stays the number originally
assigned to it and does not advance to the next level of an outline.

I was wondering if while numbering paragraphs at Word I can use a number
style of another alphabet. The Word offers a specific list using the Latin
Alphabet, such:

Without using the Master Document features, how can I paginate
separate documents so that they automatically number themselves in
continuing order?  This is for Word 2000.

   I am trying to create a numbered certificates using the SEQ field. I put
three certificates on a page, set the starting number with the \r switch and
it increments the number on the single page, but if I print multiple pages,
it repeats the same three numbers on each page.
