I have created a 50 page document in MS-Word 2000 on an W2k workstation. I have a title page, contents page & intro page. I want the page numbering to start on the actual document pages... Can someone point me in the right direction on the issue???

Is it possible to create a macro or similar that will allow the user to toggle numbering of styles? Like for them to be able to select if sections should be numbered or not basically but still use the same styles for the formatting of the headers.

I work in a law firm. We receive many external documents that need to be modified. What I am seeing more and more is that they are using hidden bookmarks to create a toc. We have to strip these out to coincide with our firm's formatting.

In technical documentation for a civil engineering project there has to be heading reference in footer - but level dependant. If page includes only Heading 2, reference in footer should be Heading 2, otherwise reference in footer should be Heading 1.
