I have a problem with the incrementation of a sequence of table numbers. In
the heading related to chapter 3, i have placed the field { seq Tabel \r 0 \h
}, which resets the sequence of table numbers. The sequence field for the
first table in chapter 3 is { seq Tabel \* ARABIC }, ...

I want the 'number of pages' in my footer to reflect the number pages, not
including a title page and table of contents.  How do I do this?

I read through this board a bit, and it seems there might be a previously
known issue here, but here's the situation:
Captions applied to an existing document using Word 2003.  There are track
changes throughout the document (including the insertion of the Captions).

I have a word document created in Office 2000 in English. In the footer
I have pasted in the formula of Page x of Y hence on page 5 if there
are 10 pages it says Page 5 of 10. If I open the same document in
French office 2000 it shows Page X of X on every page hence it would

I need to create a document that has customized paragraph numbering.  It
needs to look like this:
[0001]
[0002] etc.

I have tried many times to get my numbering done by style, but get stuck.  
What I want is this:
1.        HEADING
(1.1      Heading)

I'm almost giving up. I'm writing my dissertation and spent hours on this
problem and also tried Shauna Kelly without any success.
I'm using Word 2003 and XP Pro.
I want my headers to look like this:
Pages: 1 2 April, 2005
