Hello to all!  Thank GOD for the MVP's!  We appreciate the time you take to
help us so much. This is my first post, but I've learned many things from
reading the website and the newsgroup.
I have created a Functional Requirements document. It is about 100 pgs. and

Some of my cross references are not updating with F9 and are reading "See

I have a caption style defined that uses level 8 of the outlined
numbered list that is used by the built in headings:

I have captions defined with automatic numbering, and I would like to
define the spacing after consistently.
Unfortunate (1): one space is not enough space, if I define the "Follow

I have a 3 column table for which I would like to auto-number the rows (many
rows!). So I insert a 4th column to the very left and create a numbered list
in the column. Neat. Serves my purpose. I don't think there is another way of

I keep running into problems with numbering the headings in MS-Word (2002
and 2003).
Heading 1 works fine. I select the "Heading1" and click on Modify,
Format, Numbering and select "outlined numbers". In "Customize" I see
