Getting absolute page number17 Aug 2005 14:15 GMT1
{PAGE} returns the page number, which might be section dependant.  Is it
possible to obtain absolute page number from the start of the document
and not from the start of the section?

In the section with included external documents, style of page numbering
should be different.  Eg.
Section 3. External documents     Page 1/20 (1+6+5+8)
Section 3.1 Document 1            Page 1/6
Custom TOC16 Aug 2005 16:45 GMT2

We are using Word 2000 and an example of our doc format is as follows:
static sequence number in Word 200316 Aug 2005 11:11 GMT4
Is there anyway to assign a static sequence number to an outline numbered
paragraph and then create a table at the end using that sequence number?  I
want the sequence number to remain constant regardless of how I re-order the
document.  Then at the end of the document I'd like ...

I have customised the styles Heading 1 - Heading 7.  Each is linked to the
previous heading to restart.  This is all working fine.
Page numbering goes 31, 32, HH, II -- I don't want this. Help14 Aug 2005 00:55 GMT1
At some point I noticed in a document I'm creating that some of my pages are

how to revert back to all numbers. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Outline numbering with prefix08 Aug 2005 15:50 GMT2
Is there a way to assign a prefix to all the level of an outline

For example, my list might be:

Capturing a numbered heading03 Aug 2005 22:05 GMT2
Is it possible to capture a numbered heading for reference in another

to section 3.4.4", where the number "3.4.4" was generated using word
2003's outline numbering system (which was finally tamed by listening
