I've recently created new styles in my firm's documents.  I modified
the heading styles to want I wanted and it all worked perfectly.  I
then decided to create different styles for schedules so that the
numbered clauses in schedules would not appear in my TOC.  I created
Page numbering formats with sections07 Dec 2005 11:35 GMT2
I have 2 sections, with Page X of Y in the footers of both set up as
follows:
Page {Page} of {SectionPages}
At the start of the second section I restart the numbering from 1, so

I have a document, about 200 pages in Word 2000.  I have finally, after
much reading of this group, gotten all of the heading numbering to
work. The problem comes when I move the document to my laptop to work
at home... on the laptop, my headings (e.g. 2.3.4) all follow chapter 1

I have a document that has lots of numbered points that were manually
numbered. I would like to use Find and Replace to search for any number
between 1 and 9 that is followed by a full stop and a space and replace it
with nothing.
