I am writing a fairly large document.  One portion of it 27 pages long

portion of the document can have 0, 1, or 2 tables on it.
Each table is preceded by a continuous section break, the first two columns ...

Page X of Y not staying22 Aug 2006 23:33 GMT2
I will type in auto fill "Page X of Y" in my headers. I have a page break,
and the "X of Y" needs to be added after the first page, where the header is
different. When I close and reopen, the "Page X of Y" is reverted. It no
longer says " 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3", it says "1 of 1, ...
Page X of Y numbers shaded22 Aug 2006 22:15 GMT1
All of the sudden I am having the numbers of my "Page X of Y" that I've added
to my headers show up shaded. I can't figure out what happened. I don't know
that I formatted any kind of shading in anything. I did insert cells into the
header. Could that have anything to do with it?

Please help! - Phantom numbering is killing me11 Aug 2006 11:43 GMT4
OK, I can NOT figure out why this is happening.
First, I built template with outline-numbered headings.  I also built
unnumbered body text styles to line up margin-wise with each numbered
heading.  Template is fine even with the issue I am about to describe.
VB Code for Outline Numbering and Outline Bullets09 Aug 2006 11:11 GMT1
I have the following code that seems to change the indents depending on what
the person used for an outline previously.  I even reset the list before I

next time it is used it may start somewhere else.  ...
Comments numbering08 Aug 2006 21:47 GMT2
I have a document that I've been inserting comments into.  Up to comment
number 19 all was well, but the 20th comment is numbered 110.  All subsequent
comments follow from 110 (i.e. 111, 112, 113, etc.).
Any thoughts on how I can remove the jump in numbering?

Does anyone know a way to have Word display text (or in this case, a number)
that is referenced somewhere else in the document? The referenced number is
an incremental field code and there are several items that refer back to it.
I'd like to set it up so that if the field code ...
