Is it possible to number the 6th page as page 1? I want the first 5 pages

I have created a template with four levels of headings and sub-paragraphs.  
The headings are outline numbered.

In a single column Word (2003 or 2007) I want to insert two columns
while maintaining consecutive page numbers on my document.

I have a user that has a large document and has setup in the header the page
numbering option.
In two different places in the document, she wants to be able to have a page
number remain the same for  the following page but with an a added to it.

The company I work for uses an application that takes mulitple word
documents and merges them into one meta-document with Section Breaks
between each document. This document is then faxed or emailed. Our
problem is with page numbering.

I need to insert a field on that will increment by 2. For example,
page one is numbered 3, page 2 is numbered 5, etc. Does anyone know
the formula/switch to do this?

I am an infrequent user. I am very conversant with Access and VBA if
that helps because I am aware that code can be used in a text box to
give page numbers,

After creating a new outline numbering style "MyOutline", I notice
that it shows up multiple times in the "Bullets and Numbering" gallery
dialog (Format, Styles, Modify, Numbering) thus replacing the Word
defaults.
