the header:
Section 1
Page {PAGE} of {NUMPAGES}

I have a master document with 45 subdocuments. Each document has a a footer
with section number - page starting at 1 for each section e.g. 40-1 etc
If the document files are read only then the pages numbering does not work.
All section 1 pages are 1-1 all section 2 are 2-2 all ...

I have created a manual which is divided by chapters.
Can anyone tell me how to print just 1 chapter instead of the whole document?
I have tried to highlight a selection and print but it ends up not printing
the footers on each page.

When printing a (for example) ten page document the page numbers on the print
preview appear as "Page 1 of 4, Page 2 of 4" etc. But when the document is
physically printed, either to a printer or PDF the headers then read "Page 1
of 1" for the first page, through to "Page 4 of 4" ...
