I'm using Word 2007, and have a template from a publisher which I

extensions). I'm going mad over restarting list numbering. Simple lists.
The template came with para styles NL1, NL, and NLX for the first,

Styles, headings, numbering, sanity ... help?19 Aug 2008 20:40 GMT16
Is there a document anywhere that explains how Word deals with numbering
now? I have used heading styles and outline numbering for many years, and I

I want to add text before the page number in the footer, i.e., App-I, and I
want it to show up that way in the table of contents.  But when I insert the
page number and then type the App- in front of it it only pulls the page
number not the App- to the TOC.  Helpppppppp.

I've been successfully using the technique for outline numbering but have run
into a situation where the restart numbering isn't doing what I want.
In this sequence things work fine:

Automatic Numbered List Creation for Labels?07 Aug 2008 07:40 GMT2
I have an Avery 05366 i'd like to use for labelling. The boxes are 2 x 15.
I'd like to put the same number in each box (cutting it in half), so
essentially i'd have 4 x 15 sets of numbers. These would be in sequential
order. Ideally I'd just have to change the very first number, ...
