I am not the most proficient in using Word, however, I sent a client a 14 page word document, ~40 numbered paragraphs. This of course was in markup mode to allow them to make any changes etc. When I got it back, with changes, the numbering was 1-8 and where paragraph 9 was ...

I'm having an unusual problem with Microsoft Word 2003. I'm using legal numbering (1., 1.1., 1.1.1., etc), which I don't generally use. I have each level tied to a style (Heading 1,2,3 etc). I have the following sequence of sections:

I'm trying desperately to create a field in Word 2007 which should display todays day and the ordinal suffix (e.g. 27th). So far I've managed to find out, that by adding \*Ordinal to the field syntax, the ordinal suffix should display (and it indeed does).
