Hi, me again...
First of all, is this a real Word Numbering or a Word Tables question?
I'm thinking it's numbering, since it's a more automated problem, and not a

Have a .doc I'm suppose to edit that is ~ 500 pages. The doc didn't have
page numbers so when I numbered pages, it turned into a mess. I'm guessing
there are "several" section breaks causing the numbering problem.

Our legal docs in Word 2003 are formatted with styles which apply
outline numbering to each paragraph (1.1, 1.1.1 and so on).  Is it
possible to delete paragraphs of text without altering the subsequent
numbering? For example I have paragraphs 2.3.1; 2.3.2 and 2.3.3. I

I recall in 2003 i if a document was in one numbering format like 1.,
1.1, 1.1.1, etc format I could select all and change the format and it
would change all applicable "numbered" items to the new format.  In
2007 if I do that under the Numbering or Multi-level Lists icons

Page numbering and Continuous Breaks06 May 2009 16:06 GMT4
Is there any relationships between inserting continuous breaks and page
numbering?
I inserted 2 continuous breaks, then, page number got screwed.  Now there
