When I justify a document in word, it looks fine on the
screen, but when I print it, some of the words have spaces
between the letters, eg "classroom" will come out

I have a document set up to print as portrait except for
one page which is landscape. I've put in section breaks
and so on and its all working ok, prints fine etc.
What i'd like though is to have the header and footer on

OK, having a senior moment here. (Shhh!)  Where's the setting
in Word 2000 that lets you adjust the *default* inline-ness
(yes/no) for inserted images?  I know I've seen it.  Is it
only in Word 2002?

I was doing some testing using the hyperlink (Ctrl +
Click to follow the link).  I am finding out that if the
hyperlink is typed and/or pasted within Headers/Footers
the "Ctrl + Click to follow the link" does work.  A

I have a lengthy word document that is set-up primarily
with a "portrait/letter size" (vertical) orientation.
There are two tables contained in the document however
that I would like to run using a landscape orientation.

Anyone have an explanation for why it occurs on some PCs and
not others, even using the same printer and identical version
of Word 2002?

know I'm going to describe this wrong, but indulge me.
My boss will be working on a Word document, and will send
it over to me. She generally works in "normal view".

I have a pretty big document that is on CD.
When I open this doc, it looks alright when I am in Normal
view.But when I goto Print layout or Print Preview, I see
black bars across all the pages of the document.

For the first time on one the computers in the lab, there
is now a 4th tab for document grid in XP's Word Page Setup
dialog box.  You can also see grayed-out corner boundaries
on the Word documents.  How was this setting created, and
