paragraph breaks in middle of page31 Oct 2003 23:54 GMT1
A user in my office is having a problem wherein a
paragraph in her document abruptly drops the remainder of
the paragraph to the next page, even though there is room
for a good ten lines of text.  I have checked her page

       I created a flyer for our school raffle.  It is roughly 4 1/2" by
11" with 3 one column sections and 2 two column sections interleved.  It is
just what I was after, almost...
       Now I want to 3-up the flyer on 17" x 11" paper for printing.  I

I need to have different styles on the same line. Some thing like:

I cannot use tables because I need to be backward compatible with word
6.0/95, which does not allow bottom vertical alignment within cells,

Each time I try to print this document, I get the error message "the margins of section "n" are outside the printable areas of the page.  Do you want to continue?  If I say yes, it procees to list numerous other sections which I continue to say yes to and then it eventually ...
Lines not wrapping / rulers too short??31 Oct 2003 12:11 GMT2
I'm having trouble with lines wrapping in Word. Basically,
my ruler ends about halfway across my screen, but lines of
text continue right to the far edge of the screen before
wrapping onto the next line. When I print or print

everytime I open a 158 page document it opens up in 214
pages. page breaks are automatically inserted.

From day one I've had problem with page breaks AND with
printing them.
Toggling between Normal View and Print View, I cannot get
breaks to happen automatically. I have to force them in

I'm not sure what I did but everytime I load Word there
is now a frame in the top left corner.  I have to remove
the frame each time I start typing.  Does anyone know how
I can fix this?

My mother must have accidently hit the control or windows
key when she was saving a word doc. THE LETTER  is now
embedded in the template and in all the THEMES.
I unistalled and reinstalled only to find it there

Hope someone can help (and that I'm posting in the correct group!)
I now have two customers using Word 2002 with a similar, if not the same,
problem.
They are printing labels but the prints are drifting and 3 or 4 labels down

I have these dotted line breakes in a word documeent and

document. I can get them to move up or down, but that is
all, and I cannot get them all to go all the way to the

In certain documents(not consistent)I am seeing the first
page of the document as Page 0 - and I can't seem to reset

I want to suppress the header and footer on pages where
the new chpater begins. I have created my own template
which I apply to the document. I user "Heading 1" - which
is also part of the Normal template to write the chapter

I have a header/footer set that I want removed in
Word '97.  I don't know how it got there.  Of course, I
could have accidentally inserted it.  Regardless, the
instructions for removal in the help aren't working.
