My blank new document screen in the print layout view has four L-shaped brackets denoting the margins in each corner. I can't turn them off so I just have a blank page. Can anyone help? Thank you.

Does anyone know how to insert headers/footers such that they display at the top & bottom of a landscape page as if it were a portrait page so that a document that has portrait and landscape page orientations has consistent placement of its headers and footers?

When Multiple footnotes (or endnotes) are added in the body at the same location Word inserts them like this: "1234" (but superscripted). I can add superscripted commas and spaces to make it look like this: "1, 2, 3, 4".

I recall being able to have one bit of text centered in a line while another piece of text in the same line is right justified. However, I don't recall how to do it and have not been able to find it in Word's help. All I can remember is that I did not need to use tables or text ...
