paragraph spacing: sometimes cumulative... sometimes not18 Mar 2004 23:35 GMT6
In some of my documents, the spacing: before/after settings of adjacent
paragraphs takes a cumulative affect.  That is, the spacing settings of
a paragraph, say 12pt after, will add on to the spacing of the next
paragraph, say 6pt before, for a grand total of 18pts of space ...

when I use cross-referencing to keep text and figure/table
legends automatically in step, I notice that in some cases
when I update the document extra line breaks are inserted
before the cross reference.

Hi I have several users who have recently migrated from
WordPerfect to Word XP.  They want to be able to create a
hanging indent for a paragraph using a keystroke.  We

My indent markers and tabs move across the ruler in 0.06" increments, i.e. two jumps for every division on the ruler. Can I increase the increment to 0.125, so that the markers jump cleanly from one division to the next?
