In print layout view, my documents (all, whether old or

2000 Office Upgrade changes print view06 May 2004 03:40 GMT2
Just upgraded Office 2000 Pro to Office XP Pro - scale on
print view is in characters, not inches as in original
2000 version.  Checked options to insure "inches" were
set - cannot find any way to change the scale.
Track Changes in Word 200206 May 2004 01:47 GMT2
I like the format of the old Track Changes functionality
in Word.  I upgraded to Word 2002 and hate the new
format.  Is there any way to get Word 2002 to use the old
Track Changes formatting?

Page numbers not updated when printing05 May 2004 23:03 GMT1
I have a 35-page document with multiple sections. The footers have "Page X
of Y" in them. When I view the document on the computer, the "Y" is correct
on every page. When I print the document, the "Y" is incorrect, and in fact
is different on just about every page. Only on the last ...

Can't make format changes05 May 2004 16:27 GMT1
For some reason, Word is re-formatting things I type (like
underlineing and making text red!) and I cannot undo these
chages, even by deleting and starting over!
Also, it puts the> instead of ., even with no shift key
Multiple font sizes witin a style?05 May 2004 15:48 GMT3
Tell me if this is nuts, but:
I want to have some styles that have more than one size in them.  Actually
it's probably easiest if I show my requirements and let someone make a
suggestion.  Here is a sample of what I am trying to do:
Paragraph05 May 2004 14:59 GMT6
When I open a word document, in the beginning of each
line i see a reverse P (The one u can see when u see the

Margin Markers05 May 2004 14:54 GMT2
On some of my computers I have nonprinting markers in
Print Layout View.  The markers are in the corners of the
page and display the margin settings.  I can't seem to
get rid of them.  HELP!

Hi! I'm just writing to ask whether anybody knows of any templates that enable you to compose a story in Microsoft Word 2000 that automatically converts to traditional novel/paperback form? I have a school project for English that requires a professional presentation and I'm ...

I've been looking for hours for a way to make Word do a two column setup which would have the larger column contain the content and the smaller side column contain headings at different points. I've done a "graphic rendition" of what I mean and posted it at http://www.ugrad.cs ...
