I use both Word and Word Perfect.  I often like to divide the page into 2
(or more) virtual pages either horizontally or vertically.  In Word Perfect
that is easy to do.  I have yet to figure out how to do this in Word.  Can
anyone make a suggestion?  Thanks.

Auto Formatting gives me five tags that aren't apparently
regularly available to me: List, List 1, List 2, List 3,
List 4.  However, I wish to use them and I can't locate a
Template that contains these List tags in order to copy

How do you set the default margins to be 1" instead of

One of my co-workers has created a Word document for an
employee evaluation.  Instead of using a table for each
of the areas evalulated and the responses, she inserted
text boxes and lined them up so it looks like a table.  

We're constantly getting other departments' edits of a whole host of
manuals that are produced by us.  Word is esp difficult when doing
clean-ups of this kind; and what also doesn't help is that in this
dept, they've chosen a non-standard way of formatting for these
