I am layout out a book and would like to have a larger
margin on the side of each page toward the binding.  Does
anyone know how I can vary the margins between odd and

I had been playing with creating lables under merged
documents.  Now when I open a new blank document, I get a
label template.  I can't open a new (empty) page. I keep
getting a page of blank labels. I have uninstalled and

OS 2K professional. All the menus and toolbars are lost on
Word 2000  under one of the users profile. I have tried to
uninstall and then reinstall Office 2000, as admiistrator  
but this did not help. The user still cannot see his menus

Can anyone explain to me why a file created in Word 2002
(on an XP Operating System) opens up drastically
different on other operating systems and older or newer
versions of Word?

Hi everyone, I'm using Word 97 and need to put a waterwark
on the last 6 pages of a 26 page document. I tried to
follow the help section but got completely confused when
it mentioned inserting a clipart.

Normally when I create some labels I can go to labels,
pick the type I want and click on new document, and then
I can see the labels.  It is not showing me the label
template, what is wrong?  Thank you!

Following scenario is rather simple - but I can't seem to get it easy.
I have a document with page setup of A5 Landscape.  That's half of A4
Portrait.  How can have print it twice (two copies of the same
document) on A4 page (one on the top, one on the bottom)?

I have created a label template (landscape), however due
to what appears to be a design floor in our printer, the
labels get chewed up if put into the print tray in
landscape orientation.

How do I undo a 'shrink to fit'? MS Word Help says it is
difficult...Is there a way.
At least I think that is the problem. My page is not
printing full-size but reduced to about 90% or less.

Whenever I open a MS Word attachment in Outlook 2003, the attachment comes
up in a weird view.  I have to click on view ? normal.  If I detach the
document and open it in Word, it opens with the "normal" view.  Is their

I work in Print View. All of a sudden my new blank pages
come up with the cursor flashing right at the top of the
page and it won't show any top and bottom margins - the
text just flows over the page breaks.

I can't get the margin ruler on the top of the word
document to appear and stay in place. Can someone help

On page 3 of a 10 page document there is a blank header space that covers almost the whole page.  There is no text in the header and everything that could be in there has been deleted.  I need to get rid of this header.  On all the other pages, the footers contain the page ...
