When I go to page layout and try to reset everything to Normal for Whole Document with one inch margins all around, and click OK (or Save, I forget) it doesn't change a thing. I don't know how it became book layout in the first place.

I am working a word 2000 andmy question is:
When printing my document (both sides of the page) I wish to have the first two pages without number. Pages 3-6 in roman, showing I,II, and III respectfully, and then page 7 starts the normal page count from 1. How do I set this up?
convert labels to envelopes17 Jul 2004 02:40 GMT1
I have a Office Word 2003 file with hundreds of addresses. The addresses are
in label format. I do not want to print labels, but want to print the
addresses directly onto envelopes. I do not have access to the data file
(which would make life easier).
Speculation on placing a figure on a specific page16 Jul 2004 23:40 GMT6
How would the Word developers add a feature to place a figure on a
particular page? This feature would allow Word to be used for basic
page layout applications.
They would probably add another "story". Call it "Page-Locked Figures"

Hi, when I am `trying` to type a letter using Word, everytime I press space, a dot appears at the end of the word. At the end of every paragraph, an icon ( which I assume from the shape is `end of paragraph` ) shaped like a line with a backwards `p` appears at the end of every ...

Can someone tell me how to remove a page border?  When I print my document or look at it in Print Preview there is a blue border around the entire page.  I tried selecting Format > Borders and Shading > Borders (tab) "NONE" and Page (tab) "NONE."  That still did not work.  Is ...

I would like to print text on the same page but one "normal" like this
e-mail and the other one, upside-down, so with the same orientation
(left/right but right/left) but with the top of the letters to the bottom.
Any ideas if this is possible ?

Lately I have noticed that when working in Word (2000),
if I select a line of text and make it bold (or
italicized, or a different color), it applies that style

(absolute positioning) as the reference point, but cannot

a CD instead of hardcopy.
