About 2 years ago, I fought tooth and nail with word 2000 to do the
following simple thing in normal (~15page) documents: Position a figure
with an autonumbered caption so it doesn't jump and/or drag paragraphs to
other pages.

When I view pages in print layout in Word 2002, the margins look even all
around -- just like I want them.  But when the pages print out there is a
noticably larger margin on the right and at the bottom.

Excel spread-sheet embedded in a Word document does not span over multiple
pages.  You can use a table to do this but features in a spread-sheet are
then not available (such as summations, calcs).

I have Word XP. When I create to columns and I want to

I am running 2003 Office XP.
I was reformatting a text with new outlines.  During the reformatting, Bold
times New roman with underline was comming up.  After I finished
reformatting, I highligted the whole text and change the font to my likings
