updated, if set as before, by the program but it is alwalys wrong.  Why?

I'm running Word 2000 under Windows 98 on three PCs.
I've a Word document on PC 1 that has 49 pages.
I copied the document to PCs 2 and 3. On PC 2 the file
has 78 pages, whilst on PC 3 it correctly has 49 pages.

(1) In the template it says to print out the template, then "position

I have my document set into chapters, and I use Chapter 1 as my heading 1.
However when I go to chapter 2 and subsequent chapters, and apply "heading
2" then it starts with number 1.2 instead of 2.1. What can I do?
If I set the restart numbering then is worse, the number I get is 1 ...

Working on a technical report in Word 2000, in track change mode.  The
software will not stop repaginating - going to 9000+ pages.  I've put the
cursor at the end of the text, but cannot go any farther in the document.  
Copying to another file does not stop the repaginating.

table.  Every time I move the cursor at any point past the TOC, the entire

Using XP Pro with Office 2003 SP1. When I print a doc created with Office
2000, the text on the preview and print layouts is shifted to the left and
up, leaving a wide margin on the right and bottom of the page. Almost like
it's being sized to fit on smaller paper. I tried ...
