in previous versions of word you could change the page setup to allow for
sizing the paper to A5 I cannot find this in 2003 version
Can some one help please

I have inserted symbols into a paragraph in older versions of Word and
printed them out successfully. I am now using XP and the symbols are
displaying incorrectly. Interestingly, the online web layout shows the
symbols correctly, but all other views, and prints, show rubbish where ...

We have a document that we want to replace all spaces to commas,but 1
exception that the space which is before the word Ave or St and also the 1
word prior to those words shall also not be replaced ex: mr,John,Doe,123 45
St,Boston,MA,10234

Most of my endnotes are short, so I would like them to list horizontally separated by commas but I cannot find a way to do so.

While trying to modify my Page Setup, I get a pop-up that says "Increasing
right margin causes last column to become too narrow in some sections having
unevenly spaced columns."  My margins are 1" L & R and don't seem to be
increased.  The pop-up won't let me change anything else ...

I receive European Word docs that appear to attach their templates to my

I have a multi page document and need to set a different footer on one page

I've got a block of text formatted across 3 columns.  These columns are near
the bottom of the page and I want to extend the formatting from one page to
the next but when the software senses the automatic page break it spreads the
text errratically.

I'm trying to create a document in which the first page is a cover page and
has a large logo in the header and contact info in the footer, and all the
remaining pages have a smaller logo in the header and a reduced font size and
page numbering in the footer.

I have created a file to print in landscape view. The image of the page on
the screen is correct, and the margins are mirrored correctly, but when I go
to print, page setup reverts to Portrait.

How can I delete an across-the-page line, created by continuous pressing of -
or = and then 'return', from text in a standard Word document? If I select
and try DEL it doesn't remove it ...I've had this problem for years (with all
previous versions of WORD) and am quietly going ...
