I am working with Word 2000 and need to set up a template that uses even and odd headers. I can get the Heading1 and Heading2 text to apply using the STYLEREF command, but not the autonumber that is built into the Heading1 and Heading2 styles using Bullets and Numbering.

I cut and pasted several pages of text into a new document, but I can only see one page of it. And when I type a new document, I can't see any of the text beyond page one. Anyone know how to fix this?

When I create an outline, the feature works fine for a while. Then the spacing between the Level I number and the text gets larger; destroying the consistency of the outline appearance. I can't get the space narrower. Here is that it looks like:

OK, Now I have set up my templates in a directory to be shared by others. This is fine at the moment because there are only a few but its a bit messy in large icons mode. When I choose File | New | Templates On My Computer, you get the General Tab
