The top of my document is cut-off in the screen view21 Dec 2004 19:35 GMT1
The cursor is at the very top of the view. However, the print preview is
normal. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but still have the same
problem. Can you help?

My Word has defaulted the page layout to landscape.  When I try to change it
back to portrait the following message appears:
'Increasing right margin causes last column to become too narrow in some
sections having unevenly spaced columns.'

very long doc (7000 pages) when hitting hide/remove, of course the paragraph
symbol appears, but so does {XE-name} and we MUST remove this to submit the
doc. It is because it is index, we know, but what to do about this? Please

can force this with sections but i can't find a way to do this automaticly by
applying a chapter style.

There is always a line in the header by default. I want to remove the line.

I cannot figure out a way to do this.   Hitting enter resolvesthe issue - but
then I have an unwanted space.   I have a document with 3 columes.   I do not
want spaces beetween the paragraphs (just an indentation).    I cannot figure
out how to accomplish this.

But....here's where the trouble begins.  I can get it to have a different
header/footer on Page one from page 2 but what I really want is to have the

For some reason I can no longer delete selected text in MS Word. I can use
the backspace and it will delete the selected text, but the "delete" key no
longer performns that function. I must have accidently changed some option.

delete a name from the list and have the other names move to fill the space
