In Word 2000, I need to insert a new doc at the bottom of my original doc and want this second doc to keep all its original formatting. I first inserted a break (Insert | Break | choose Next Page radiobutton), then inserted my doc (Insert | File). The second doc kept its own

I'm using Word 2000 and I'm trying to put my document into three colomns. My document contains footnotes that I want to run the entire length of the page not just in each colomn but I've tried everything and I'm wondering if it is even possible. Please help.

It appears that there is a large white space on the right side of my documents. When I go to print layout, 2 pages side by side are shown. I would like to return to a single page, without the large blank space Your help is appreciated.

On only one of my documents, every time I start a new page, the new lines fill the page. They then get squashed up to the normal single line spacing untul the page is full, then this starts again on the next page. Anybody know why?

How do you set up customized headings so that they number sequentially? I set the numbering option to outline. It numbered all H1s the same number as well as H2s etc. I highlighted the second H1 and second H2 and saw that "Continue with previous list" was selected.
