When exiting Word, certain parameters can be set. One is the number of columns.
When Word next opens, these parameters are applied.
I have a machine which opens Word with 2 columns, and have forgotten how to
set parameters on exit.

I need to produce a booklet with different stories on facing pages.
An English version and Italian version of an article must appear on facing
pages. The article is multi-page, so the text must continue in the facing

I am totally confused by word 2003 handling of text boxes. In Word 97,
it is straightforward. In 2003, it says "create your drawing here". Who
wants to create a drawing in a text box? I must be missing something.

I have a dcument wherein I have a footer for Page X of Y.
When I preview the same it shows properly like 1 of 5, 2 of 5 .. 5 of 5.
However when print it, prints wrongly like as below.
Page 1 of 1, 2 of 2 etc.
