I want to make a Word document or a template(whichever)  where I can type
only in a few shaded areas in the document.  The rest of the form will be
protected and inaccessible to any changes. I would like to be able to tab

When I add a comment (Insert | Comment) to a document.  The comments show
in color, off to the side.  When I go to print, the default for "Print what"
is always
"Document showing markup".  Is there a way to make the default for "Print

How do I set up a 8.5 X 11 page so that I can print two invitations on the
same page, side by side.  I guess splitting the page in half vertically,
allowing the same text on both sides?

I know how the "Different First Page" and "Different Odd/Even" work.  If I
want the same header and footer for the first 3 pages and then different
odd/even, what can I do?  I am working on a report with multiple TOC.

Hey there!
   I use WordXP and edited a document for a friend who uses Word2K.  I
changed the zoom factor on the document from 100% to 150% while I was doing
the edit and then sent it back.

I have written a workbook and the table of contents and intro pages I don't
want to number.  I want the numbering to begin  at the 11th page which comes
right after the table of contents.  For now I have had to print 2 seperate

can see the style formatting for each line.   In Word 2003 this extra column

When I prepare a legal pleading the first line of text is slightly above the
number "1" in the left margin - and the lines are not the same distance apart
as the numbers in the margin, so that only about 2 out of 10 lines are

I have chapter numbers with sutitles.  For example, centered at the top of
the page:

I have created a form within a Word Template.  This form works great on 98%
of our employees PCs; however, on the other 2% it displays the template as it
should but the fields are all displayed as gray boxes with {FORMTEXT} and

I have a Word document (2000) that has a text boundary about two thirds
down the page even though the margins are set correctly.
How do I fix this?
